We adopted Sasha and Leon from Homeward Bound on January 18, 2020. Sasha is a shepherd husky mix and is exuberant about everything. Leon is a hound and lab mix. He enjoys playing, chasing critters, and digging.
We adopted Lexi from Kitten Angels on March 7, 2018 when she was about 1 year old. She’s an energetic cat who explores all openings throughout the house. Through our windows and glass door, she is a fine observer of wildlife. She loved to be close to Annaleigh.
In Memory
We picked Annaleigh from a photo on Petfinder.com in 2007. She had been abandoned in Georgia and brought to a shelter there. Homeward Bound Dog Rescue transported her to New York. She had the most gentle nature. Annaleigh passed away on November 27, 2019.
We found a photo of Maggie on Petfinder.com in 2008. We liked how similar her markings were to Annaleigh’s, so we adopted her. Initially she was skiddish, but soon became a big teddy bear. Maggie passed away in July 2018.
We adopted Luna from Whiskers in 2001. As a youth, she stayed in a closet or under blankets much of the time. However in her mature years, she became bolder and enjoyed being in the entire house. Luna passed away in April 2018.
